We’re pleased to announce that International Racing Squirrels has been selected as a finalist in Selected Projects at Game Connection America 2013, to be held on March 25th-27th at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco.
International Racing Squirrels was mentioned recently in a House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee inquiry into support for the creative industries.

We’re very excited to have won a place as one of 25 companies on Nesta’s Creative Business Mentor Network, which is “designed to nurture the UK’s most exciting creative businesses with an appetite for growth”.
We’re also delighted that our mentor will be none other than Mike Hayes, former President and CEO of SEGA Europe and SEGA USA. We’re really looking forward to working with him and having his input over the next 6-12 months.
I spoke at Interactive Ontario’s X-Summit in Toronto a few weeks ago and my session, “From Scratch: First Concept to Finished Interactive“, was about the stages in our game production process, and how Playniac take cross-media productions from initial ideas to a completed project when creating interactive content for movies, brands or broadcasters.
Playniac were at Develop 2011 in Brighton last week and founder Rob Davis talked about the process we use to manage the complex art of designing and producing games for our clients.
