Rob was invited to the New York Film Academy earlier this year, to talk to game design students about the game development process.
The talk, which was also delivered at Edinburgh Interactive last year, is entitled ‘How to Race Squirrels: A Game Design Toolbox’. In it, Rob explains how we develop game ideas not just by playing a game to test it, but by playing with the game through four principal phases: concept development, interactive wireframes, paper testing and balancing.
